While on the expedition, I worked in various roles, including as a Photographer, Medic, general hand, apprentice instructor and most recently, as a Leader, including planning expeditions of my own. I have volunteered for different organisations to gain more experience, especially in teaching, research, and journalism. I have written on a range of subjects which have been published in different news and policy outlets. I Co-host the Medicine on the Frontier Podcast and work as a producer on other projects. My wographic work portfolio is available on my website: lucwoodallgillard.com. In recognition of my work, I was awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Geographical Society in London.
My main passion is diving. I am a technical rebreather and HSE Diver. I hope to be able to utilise these skills on remote shoots as a safety diver and, eventually, an underwater camera operator.
