I am a highly driven and commercially minded team player with 20 years’ leadership and management experience. I have spent the last ten years as an Executive Director of charitable organisations, working to improve the lives of young people and make the world a better place, but my passion lies in film and storytelling. I am looking to apply my abilities, skills and experience to film production and believe they are directly transferable.

I have considerable experience of planning, initiating, coordinating, supervising and controlling all aspects of the development and delivery of projects to address a problem, issue or injustice including creative, financial, technological and administrative.

My roles have involved developing, implementing and monitoring a strategy and programme delivery plan; hiring and leading an effective and efficient team; managing resources, logistics and business operations; engaging with interested parties and delivering on schedule and within budget. I understand the efficient and effective management of finances and have experience planning, developing, managing, monitoring and reporting on budgets, cash flows and accounts. In the climate of reduced budgets and increased expectations I can successfully adapt to control costs and deliver to the highest level.

I have worked with marketing teams and PR firms to sell and promote a project and, as an experienced Executive Director, I have a proven track record of pitching for and securing funds.

In addition, I have exceptional communication, diplomatic and influencing skills, which enable me to sell a vision and secure buy in, ownership and support from a variety of key stakeholders.

I am an experienced manager, responsible for hiring high performing teams that embrace a vision and understand the important role they play in making a difference and achieving the project’s objectives. I enjoy inspiring, motivating, developing and supporting my colleagues and lead by example, happy to be involved in the daily operational tasks of a small team. I have experience of, am comfortable with and enjoy working with all types of people - from royals to the homeless.

I have experience as a Director’s Assistant, with Propaganda Films, have led on the development, production and editing of video content for several charitable organisations and am currently working with three script writers to help develop their material for production.
