over 50 credits across BBC, Netflix, National Geographic and Disney +, Sky Arts, Channel 5, BritBox, Channel 4. I am experienced with
presenter-led documentaries, narrator-less retrospectives, specialist factual ob doc, CGI and archive-driven history, international travelogues, factual drama and live event television. I am a team player with exceptional leadership and project management skills. My colleagues have described me as a ‘tenacious researcher’, ‘the world’s most organised producer’, and ‘great at nurturing new talent’. That explains how I work, but the why? The urgency of capturing testimony before it’s too late drives me above all else.
I see potential where others may not, and people trust me with their stories. The extroverts of the world are natural contributors – but I ‘see’ and make a safe space for those charismatic in other ways to have their remarkable stories heard. An expert at casting, I celebrate the quirks that make each person unique and produce their stories by leaning into a tonal range that extends from extreme pathos to playfulness.
It brings me joy to bring my life’s experiences into my work – my 5-year trusteeship at an interfaith charity, my passion for classical music, my love of gardening, and a deep awareness of how history has forged my own British-Indian identity.
