Description
Firecrest Films are looking for a Scotland based EDIT PRODUCER for Highland Cops S5. This role will be supported by Screen Scotland, and we are particularly keen to hear from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups. Candidates must be Scotland based.
The Edit Producer will work alongside an editor, watching rushes from complex incidents and streamlining them into clear and compelling stories.
The ideal candidates will have experience of working with observational documentary material and have experience identifying material that can form stories for hour-long episodes with often sensitive, character-focussed narrative. They will have experience working with a high volume of footage, navigating through it quickly to find the best stories.
These are fast-turnaround edits where decisiveness is key, so applicants would benefit from having previous credits in this role.
The role is based full time in our offices in Govan, and the contract runs from Monday 2nd November to Friday 18th December 2026.Company Name
