Firecrest Films are looking for a Scotland based Self-Shooting PD for Highland Cops S5. This role will be supported by Screen Scotland and we are particularly keen to hear from female self-shooters, Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups, or those from a lower socio-economic group. Candidates must be Scotland based.
Applicants should have previous experience working on blue light programmes or observational documentaries and can work calmly in pressurised environments. They should have extensive experience filming eye-catching, compelling stories on the Sony FX6 and managing multiple GoPros.
They will be confident working editorially on their own, with a strong track record of building trust and long-term relationships with contributors, including emergency service personnel and members of the public.
The role is based on location in Scotland and the contract runs from Monday 14th September – Friday 23rd October 2026.Company Name
