A new Soho post-house is set to be formed from the ashes of Halo Post and LipSync.
Irish producer Playhouse Studios has bought the assets of Halo and will combine them with those of LipSync, which it bought last June, to form Playhouse Post.
Halo was closed when its parent company Mojo Bridge went into administration in December and its offices on Soho’s Noel Street are set tto undergo “ongoing extensive refurbishment” this summer to accommodate the new business.
A veteran of the London post scene, Halo's recent roster of productions have included returners Bookish (U&Alibi - main picture), Last One Laughing UK (Prime Video) and Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing (BBC2).
Playhouse Post will offer picture finishing, sound, VFX, colour grading, online editing and delivery from its Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision facilities, which include a 17-seat screening and finishing theatre environment.

LipSync chief executive Mark Foligno will head up the new company.
