Tamara Gilder has taken sole leadership of Remarkable Entertainment following co-managing director Cat Lawson’s move to Vice Studios.
Gilder has been with the Banijay indie for a decade and the pair have been joint MDs of the Banijay label since 2022, landing commissions including Netflix’s Building the Band [pictured] and ITV's Genius Game.
In addition to her MD duties, Gilder executive produces Remarkable’s game shows including BBC2’s House of Games, BBC1’s Pointless and ITV1’s rebooted Deal or No Deal.
Lawson has joined Vice Studios as executive vice-president of unscripted and will oversee the global company’s unscripted team from its London office.
Prior to Remarkable, she was creative director at Studio Lambert, ran entertainment label Glitterbox, and was head of entertainment at Twofour.
Lawson said she was attracted by Vice Studios’ “fearless, distinctive storytelling across all genres of scripted and unscripted” and pledged to bring “some mischief and innovation” to its slate.
Vice Studios also promoted executive producer Claire Marshall to head of international scripted, while head of development Joe Ingham becomes creative director of unscripted.
