Overview

Are you looking to break into directing commercials but aren’t sure about the differences between the directing you do now in television and world of advertising?

This new course from DV Talent will show you how the ad industry works – from the agencies to production companies, the creatives to clients.More than that, it will give you a ream of practical skills from understanding briefs, pitching, developing moodboards and storyboards, castings and locations, processes and protocols of the shoot, the director's responsibilities through post-production, and presenting to clients. 

The course runs over 2 days and is taught by award-winning director Aasaf Ainapore. It is based around a series of practical exercises, and includes key career tips including how to get representation, building your showreels, and transferring your current skillset.
